The Ski Resort

There is hardly a ski resort so varied as the one on and around the Kitzsteinhorn in the Zell am See-Kaprun region. In the high-alpine Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski resort, winter sports enthusiasts enjoy an extra-long ski season from fall until early summer due to its snow-secure altitude and top-notch snow management. The close-to-town Maiskogel ski resort enjoys great popularity especially among families and mellow-minded skiers.

Nature & Panorama Experiences

Those who visit the Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel enjoy an unparalleled variety of natural landscapes, sports opportunities, and adventure offerings. The journey leads from the town of Kaprun all the way up to the glacier ice at 3,000 meters. In summer, the way holds picturesque hiking and biking routes as well as action-packed mountain bike trails and adventurous playgrounds. Unique attractions and spectacular panoramic cable car rides await all year round.
